Syed Ehtesham Naqvi, FOUNDER ISLAMIC COUNCIL ON SCOUTING N.A. AND CHAIRMAN NATIONAL ISLAMIC COMMITTEE ON SCOUTING, BSA Served on BSA-International Camp Staff as Scout Leader from Pakistan in 1977 and 1978. Worked as a Professional with Boy Scouts of America from 1979- 1994. He established Islamic Council on Scouting 1980 and served as Founding President. Chairman Islamic Committee since 2001 todate. Served as Jamboree Chaplain past 6 national Jamborees & 4 oversees Jamborees Participated as leader in WOSM World Conference in Detroit MI Project Director FAITH base committee in World Jamboree Sweden Introduced world famous scouting “Inflatable” Mosque in Two BSA national Jamboree and 1 world Jamboree Committed to serve the youths at next world Jamboree in Japan (on his 50 YEARS celebration in scouting movement. Elected Executive Board member of International Union of Muslim Unity,(IUMS- WOSM). He is Board member on various Muslim and non Muslim organization through out USA. He has 3 beads as leader trainer.
